Small piece of sturdy cardboard
A few pieces of pretty paper
A bit of ribbon
A binder clip
White glue or Mod Podge
To make the larger version I picked up a small wood clipboard at A. C. Moore. I'm pretty sure I paid a dollar for it. Sometimes they offer a 50% off coupon. This is a good value for 50 cents!
To begin I painted my clipboard purple. I painted the whole thing. Front and back. It only took a minute to dry. Small pieces of matching pretty paper were glued to the board. I only went up to the clip. I didn't try to cut my paper to fit around. I was happy with the purple showing.
I added a small piece of ribbon over the seam where the two papers met and glued it down. I added a couple of pieces of ribbon to the hole at the top in the clip as well. Ready to hang!
I cut a small piece of cardboard and covered it with scrapbook paper. I used scotch tape to hold it to the back or you could glue it. I cut a few pieces of construction paper and clipped them on with the binder clip.
Done and ready for your intention!
