Cork Fairy House
foam sheets or card stock
For the boat:
How to: Line up 3 corks of the same size. Using 2 rubber bands bind them together to form the body of the boat. Cut out a peice of foam or cardstock to make the sail. Is your sail a triangle or a rectangle? Poke your toothpick through the top and bottom of the sail and stick it into the middle cork. Make a bunch of them and have a race!
For the fairy house:
Cut a semi circle and shape into a cone for the roof. Glue to hold in place and on the top of your cork. Using your paperclip bend into a curling shape and add your beads. Using your pliers bend the clip so your beads won't fall off. Stick it into the top of the cone and glue in place. Add beads and glitter to decorate.
For the fairy:
Glue a bead to the top of the cork for her head. My bead did have a face but if yours does not you can use a sharpie to draw one. I added an acorn hat and glued in place. Ribbon glued at the back and wrapped around and glued again at the back became her dress. I used 4 feathers for her wings and added a couple of beads for decoration. Cute!!
